Our support goes to our first XV captain, Johnny Powell, who will be ably assisted by Dave Croudace as vice captain. We look for good things from the squad both on and off the field.

Our second XV (The Druids), captained by Bradley Morgan, will welcome their largest contingent of younger players for many years as some of last year’s Youth Team are now of senior age. With a mixture of experience it should make for a very good season.

The Youth Team, for the second successive year, will be coached and managed by Dave Price, Pancho and Cedric and they will be looking to improve on last season’s achievements, which saw them narrowly beaten in the Gwent Plate Final.

Our Young Rugby section, under the Chairmanship of Tim McCord, as well as a large contingent of 50 volunteer coaches, team managers, first aiders and referees go from strength to strength with the club now running ten teams, from Under 7’s through to Under 16’s. Many of the teams last year won various competitions and tournaments beating some great English and Welsh teams in the process.
